LINE OA is free to open, but as a shop gains friends and broadcasts more often, the free messages stop being enough. This post sums up the packages on LINE for Business's LINE Official Account page as we read it on 27 October 2026. Prices can change, so check the latest price in LINE OA Manager before you buy.

The LINE OA packages

Free: no package fee, 300 broadcast messages a month
Basic: 1,280 baht a month, 15,000 broadcast messages, 0.1 baht for each extra message
Pro: 1,780 baht a month, 35,000 broadcast messages, 0.06 baht for each extra message

LINE's table prices exclude 7% VAT, and monthly packages cannot be bought on iOS.

Can you use LINE OA for free?

Yes. The Free package has no package fee and includes 300 broadcast messages a month, and replies to chats customers start do not count toward those 300. A shop that mainly answers customer chats on LINE OA and rarely broadcasts can stay on Free. If you need to broadcast more than 300 messages a month, look at Basic or Pro.

How LINE counts messages

According to LINE's Messaging API documentation, messages are counted by the number of people who receive them, not by the number of message bubbles. Sending 4 bubbles of pictures and text to 1,000 friends at once counts as 1,000 messages.

Broadcasts, and messages the shop sends without the customer writing first, count
Reply messages that answer a customer's chat do not count
Messages to people who blocked the account do not count

Working out which package you need

Multiply the friends you will reach by the broadcasts you send each month, then compare with each package.

2,000 friends, 4 broadcasts a month: 8,000 messages. More than Free, within Basic
5,000 friends, 4 broadcasts a month: 20,000 messages. 5,000 over Basic, costing 500 baht more, 1,780 baht in total: the same as Pro, which includes 35,000 messages (before VAT)

Sending only to the group a message is for, instead of everyone, cuts the count a lot, and fewer customers block the shop.

Message quota in Easyrobin
